Oswego Blotter: Possession of Stolen Property, Cannabis, Domestic Battery

March 30 

A parent reported that someone took his son's cell phone while he was playing basketball at Fox Chase Elementary School, 260 Fox Chase Drive North, according to Oswego police.

Anthony Ortiz, 21, of the 200 block of Boulder Hill Pass was arrested by Oswego police and charged with possession of stolen property. Ortiz is accused in connection with the theft of a GPS unit from a vehicle in the 500 block of Waubonsee Circle, police said.

March 31

Lonnell Taylor, 21, of the 1800 block of Lilac Lane, Aurora, was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff's police and Sonora Road and Fernwood Road and charged with unlawful possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis and an in-state warrant for failure to appear in court for a suspended license charge, police said.

Brandon J. Lyles, 19, of the 600 block of Hawley Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 6:26 a.m. and charged with domestic battery, police said.

April 1

Luis A. Flores, 19, of the 0-200 block of Pembroke, Montgomery, was arrested by Oswego police at Farmington Lakes Drive and Douglas Road and charged with possession of alcohol by a minor and possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.
