Oswego Blotter: Teen Steals Beer from Gas Mart; Drug Possession Arrest

Sheriff's police are looking for info related to the theft of a case of Budweiser early Sunday.

Feb. 2

Kendall County Sheriff's Police are seeking a teenage male who allegedly stole a 24-pack of Budweiser from the Phillips 66 Gas Mart USA, 2500 Light Rd. Police said the teen ran into the store around 2:15 a.m., grabbed the case of beer and fled. The suspect is described as a white male around 5'8" with a medium build and brown hair. Police believe he fled on foot in a southwestern direction.

Feb. 1

Maury Eliel Castillo, 37, of the 300 block of Chicago Road, Oswego, was stopped for illegal lighting around 8:15 p.m. at Saugatuck Road and Hubbard Way, according to Kendall County Sheriff's police. Along with a lighting citation, Castillo was charged with possession of cannabis and possession of drug paraphernalia, as well as illegal transportation of alcohol and driving an uninsured vehicle, according to police.
