Oswego Blotter: Thieves Target Construction Site

April 26

A Montgomery man reported that his bicycle was stolen at Walmart, 2300 Route 34 in Oswego, resulting in a loss of about $99, police said.

April 28

Police are investigating the theft of a Bobcat, worth an estimated $26,500, from a construction site in the 200 block of Julep, police said.

April 29

Construction materials worth an estimated $385 were stolen, also from a construction site in the 200 block of Julep, according to police.

Someone forced entry and burglarized a home in the 100 block of Dolores Street in unincorporated Oswego, stealing electronic items, according to Kendall County Sheriff's police.
