Oswego Blotter: Trespassing on Railroad Property, Hit and Run

Arrests and incidents reported by Oswego police, other agencies.


March 24

Police are investigating a hit and run crash at Route 34 and Orchard Road that occurred when the driver of an older white Chevrolet rear-ended another vehicle and drove off, according to Oswego police. Police said the crash caused more than $1,500 in damage.

March 25

Daniel Bowling, 25, of the 300 block of Sander Court, Yorkville, and Jason Riley, 26, of the 700 block of Hunting Drive, Aurora, were arrested by Kendall County Sheriff's police and charged with trespassing to railroad property. The arrests came after deputies responded to a call from Burlington Northern Railroad about two subjects parked alongside the tracks behind 693 Route 31 in Oswego.


March 26

Carlos Torres Jr., 22, of the 400 block of Ohio Street, Aurora, was arrested by Oswego police at 1:30 a.m. at Route 30 and Harvey and charged with unlawful possession of cannabis, police said.
