Oswego Blotter: Credit Card Fraud, DUI, Aggravated Battery

Arrests and incidents reported by Oswego police.

Feb. 24

Israel Leon, 26, of the 500 block of Columbia Street, Aurora, was stopped by Oswego police at 11:21 a.m. at Minkler Road and Country Lane and charged with driving without a valid license and illegal use of a cell phone, police said.

Feb. 23

Anthony J. Zoda, 38, of the 1500 block of Stoneridge Court, Yorkville, was arrested by Oswego police at 9:38 p.m. in the 1100 block of Route 34 and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol, police said.

John J. McHugh, 53, of the 0-100 block of Sunnyside Park, Batavia, was arrested by Oswego police at 6:26 p.m. at Orchard Road and Minkler Road and charged with aggravated assault and disorderly conduct, police said.

Feb. 21

A 34-year-old Oswego woman reported that someone gained unauthorized access to her credit card number and used it to make purchases at various locations on the south side of Chicago, police said.

Someone partially kicked in an outside garage door to a home in the 400 block of Blue Ridge Drive, causing $300 in damage, police said.
