Jasen Phipps, 32, is being held on $800,000 bond on charges he sexually assaulted 6-year-old, 9-year-old.

A 32-year-old Oswego man is being held on $800,000 bond after being charged with 10 counts of predatory criminal sexual assault, police said Thursday.

Jasen Phipps was arrested May 2 after a nearly year-long investigation, Kendall County Sheriff's police said.

According to police, on July 9, 2013, a 9-year-old female reported being sexually assaulted by a family member in the 1500 block of Light Road in unincorporated Oswego.

Another girl, age 6, also made similar allegations against Phipps regarding an incident in the 2000 block of Creek Road in unincorporated Plano, police said. The 6-year-old is acquainted with Phipps, according to police, but they are not related.

Phipps' bond was set at $800,000, and he remains in custody at the Kendall County Sheriff's Office Corrections Center awaiting a June 2 court date, police said.
