Oswego Man Breaks Into Home, Attacks Man: Report

Blake Russell, 25, was charged with felony home invasion according to Aurora Police.

An Oswego man was charged with felony home invasion after he reportedly broke into a house and attacked a man, according to the Aurora Beacon. 

Blake Russell, 25, of the 400 block of Gloria Lane, Oswego, was reportedly looking through the window of his girlfriend's house in the 4300 block of Bayhead Court, Aurora, when he spotted her with a man, said the Beacon. 

The incident happened around 7:10 a.m. on Sunday, Dec.  29.
Police said Russell broke through the window to confront the two and the 33-year-old male victim hid in the closest with a knife. When Russell approached him they engaged in a fight and Russell ended up with a stab wound.
He was treated and released at an area hospital.

Russell was charged with felony home invasion and causing injury, a class x felony, according to the Beacon

The male victim received minor injuries during the fight, but declined medical treatment.
