A 36-year-old Oswego man was found dead in a field near the Pine Ridge housing development at Clubhouse Lane and Mill Road on the village's west side at about 1 p.m. Wednesday, according to Oswego Media Relations Officer Rob Sherwood.
The man was found by a nearby resident who alerted police. When police arrived the man was unresponsive, Sherwood said. An investigation continues, and foul play is not suspected, Sherwood said.
An autopsy is scheduled Thursday in Kendall County, Sherwood said.
