Oswego Man Sentenced to 7 Years for Cannabis Possession with Intent to Deliver

Antolin Terrazas, 36, was charged for an incident back in 2011.

An Oswego man was sentenced to seven years in the Illinois Department of Corrections after pleading guilty for the unlawful possession of cannabis with intent to deliver, said Kendall County State’s Attorney Eric Weis.

Antolin Terrazas, 36, of the 200 block of Monroe, Oswego, pleaded guilty in an incident stemming from Dec. 2011 when a large amount of cannabis was seized from his residence.

According to Weis, the United States Postal Inspectors and Kendall County Cooperative Police Assistance Team (C.P.A.T) conducted a joint operation where they executed a search warrant on Terrazas’ residence.

Over 10 pounds of cannabis were removed, said Weis.

“This case was the product of both federal and state law enforcement agencies working together, and their corporation is to be commended,” said Weis.
