Oswego Police Seeking Information on Series of Purse Thefts

The following images are suspects who Police would like to question in regards an apparent purse theft ring at an Oswego business.

Oswego Police are asking for the public’s assistance in identifying three unknown suspects wanted for questioning regarding a series of thefts at a local business.

In the past month, five female customers have had wallets removed from their purse while they shopped at the same business in the 2700 block of Route 34.

Victims' credit cards were then fraudulently used at other local businesses.With the assistance of Loss Prevention agents at local businesses we have located images of three subjects who are believed to be involved, as well as a vehicle they are using.

The vehicle is believed to be a 2006-07 white 4-door Ford F-150 Lariat, with bug shield and sunroof. The male subject was seen driving the truck. The suspect’s images have been posted on www.idthisperson.com where visitors can earn a free gift card if they are the first to positively identify a suspect.
