Wednesday, March 20

Possession of drug paraphernalia

Evan J. Mandrek, 18, of the 500 block of Waterford Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 10 p.m. at Douglas and Route 34 and charged with the possession of drug paraphernalia, said Oswego Police.

Criminal damage to vehicle, burglary to vehicle

  • Oswego police responded to a reported criminal damage to a vehicle and burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred at 6:28 p.m. in the 400 block of Treasure Drive.
  • Oswego police responded to a reported criminal damage to a vehicle and burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred at 5:30 p.m. in the 400 block of Treasure Drive. A vehicle’s window was broken and a purse was stolen from inside the vehicle.

Theft

Oswego police are investigating a reported theft of an iPhone that occurred at 5:30 p.m. in the 100 block of Washington.

Retail theft

Oswego police are investigating a reported retail theft that occurred on Feb. 17 at the Oswego Walmart. Three cellphones and an Xbox were stolen.

Tuesday, March 19

Possession of cannabis greater than 10g, possession of alcohol by a minor, in-state warrant

Christopher J. Bagley, 20, of the 0-99 block of Tomahawk, Oswego, was arrested at 1:13 a.m. at Route 71 and Paradise Parkway and charged with possession of cannabis greater than 10g, possession of alcohol by a minor and an in-state warrant, said Oswego police.

Burglary to motor vehicle

Oswego police responded to a reported burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred overnight from March 18 to March 29 in the 300 block of Francesca. An unknown suspect entered an unlocked work van and stole $10,000 worth of hardwood flooring equipment.

Monday, March 18

Battery

  • Thomas R. Sum, 41, of the 200 block of Concord Lane, Carol Stream, was arrested at 12:20 a.m. in the 800 block of Prestone Lane and charged with battery, said Oswego police.
  • Michael A. Lee, 49, of the 100 block of Devoe, Oswego, was arrested at 9:58 p.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery, said Oswego police.

Possession of cannabis, possession of alcohol

Daniel T. Galardi, 19, of the 24900 block of Amis Rose Road, Plainfield; and Daniel Zamora, 18, of the 13600 block of Rockerfeller, Plainfield, were arrested at 8:28 p.m. at Wolf and Southbury and charged with the possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams and the possession of alcohol, said Oswego police.

Hit and run

Oswego police investigated a hit and run that occurred between 6:45 a.m. and 5:35 p.m. at Oswego High School.

Sunday, March 17

DUI

Jeremy M. Thurlby, 31, of the 0-99 block of Afton, Montgomery, was arrested at 4:29 a.m. at Routes 34 and 30 and charged with driving under the influence, said Oswego police. He was also cited for failure to reduce speed and lane usage to avoid an accident.

Domestic battery

Sergio Pulido-Arce, 41, of the 400 block of Kingsbury, Aurora, was arrested at 7 p.m. at Route 34 and Fifth Street and charged with domestic battery, said Oswego police.

Criminal damage to property

Oswego police responded to a reported criminal damage to property that occurred at 12:00 p.m. in the 200 block of Presidential. Damages were estimated at $500.

Saturday, March 16

Illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor

Two male juveniles, both 16, were arrested at 3:42 a.m. at Blueridge and Treasure Drive and charged with the illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, said Oswego police.

Counterfeit bill

Oswego police are investigating a reported counterfeit bill that was passed at 8:46 p.m. at Murphy USA Gas.

Hit and run

Oswego police are investigating a reported hit and run that occurred at an unknown time at Fifth and Fernwood. An unknown vehicle struck a car, resulting in over $1,500 worth of damages.

Warrant, no valid driver’s license

Ruben Magans Jr., 19, of the 3800 block of East 30th Road, Sheridan, was arrested at 7:53 p.m. at Orchard Road and Tuscany and charged for a failure to appear warrant, driving without a valid license and speeding 20 miles over the speed limit, said Oswego police.

Warrant

Helio Juarez, 36, of the 2600 block of Streator Court, Aurora, was arrested at 12:53 p.m. at Douglas and Seasons Ridge and charged with a warrant for an aggravated DUI out of Kendall, said Oswego police.

Friday, March 15

Hit and run

Oswego police are investigating a reported hit and run that occurred at an unknown time at Mill Road and Washington Street. A ‘school speed zone ahead’ was struck.

Driving with revoked license

Kent A. Johnson, 29, of the 300 block of Van Emmon, Yorkville, was arrested at 9:22 p.m. at Route 71 and Wolfs Crossing and charged with driving with a revoked license, said Oswego police.

DUI

Brian P. Corriveau, 42, of the 600 block of Manhattan Circle, Oswego, was arrested at 11:47 a.m. in the 300 block of Douglas Road, Oswego, and charged with driving under the influence, driving without a valid license and failing to wear a seat belt, said Oswego police.

Criminal trespass to property

Sergio Uribe-Beltran, 34, of the 200 block of South Adams, Oswego, was arrested at 10:20 a.m. at the Oswego Police Station after he turned himself in for an original arrest warrant for criminal trespass to property, said Oswego police.

Theft

Oswego police responded to a reported theft that occurred between 7 p.m. and 11 p.m. in the 400 block of Gloria.

Oswego police responded to a reported theft that occurred on March 12 in the 2400 block of Route 31. Someone entered the victim’s residence and took items valued at $880.

Retail theft, criminal damage to property

Derek L. Green, 37, of the 1600 block of Nofalsase Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 11:13 p.m. at the 2300 block of Route 34 and charged with retail theft and criminal damage to property for an incident tha occurred on March 14, said Oswego police.

Thursday, March 14

No valid driver’s license, no insurance

Juan Lopez, 25, of the 0-99 block of Stolp Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 7:25 p.m. at Forest and Prairieview and charged for driving without a valid license and no insurance, said Oswego police. He was also cited for disobeying a stop sign.

Unlawful possession of cannabis

Jalen A. Love, 21, of the 2200 block of Exeter Court, Aurora, was arrested at 12:50 a.m. at Wolf and Douglas and charged with the unlawful of cannabis, said Oswego police.
