Oswego Police Hosting Junior Police Academy This Summer

Two sessions will be available to all current Oswego 308 junior high students.

The following is from a release issued by the Oswego Police Department:

The Oswego Police Department will be hosting two sessions of the Junior Police Academy this summer.

The first session is from June 24- June 28. The second session is from July 29 – August 2. Both sessions are Monday to Friday, 8 a.m. to 12 p.m.

The Junior Police Academy is offered free of charge to all current District 308 Junior High School students.

Junior cadets will learn about conducting traffic stops, crime scene investigation, building searches and more.

We have limited space available, so please do not delay in turning in applications. Applications are available in the lobby of the Oswego Law Enforcement Center or online at www.oswegopoliceil.org. They are due by May 17, 2013.
