Oswego police said they are following up leads after a 50-year-old woman said she was the victim of criminal sexual abuse in her home.

The incident allegedly happened in the early morning hours of June 14, according to police reports.

Capt. Jeff Burgner said police are looking into leads in the case and said the incident is not believed to be random.

"It's not something where the community needs to be worried," police said.

If it doesn't appear to be random and we should be worried, shouldn't we get a little more info??

Helen actually no. It's not uncommon for no info to be released on this type of crime, since it may jeopardize the investigation. If it was needed as a public warning, the police would have released more info.
