Oswego Public Library Defaced with Graffiti

Incident happened overnight between Wednesday and Thursday.

This probably isn’t what the Oswego Public Library had in mind when decorating for the holidays.

The library’s Oswego campus, 32 West Jefferson, in downtown was the victim of graffiti in the overnight hours between Dec. 18 and Dec. 19, according to Oswego police.

The graffiti was reported at 8:36 a.m. on Thursday, Dec. 19.

Unknown offender(s) spray-painted the exterior of the library with graffiti. Damage is estimated at $500.

The incident is under investigation by Oswego police.
