Original story
Police are asking residents to be on the lookout for a missing and endangered teen from Oswego.

Police said Serena Delgado, 17, was last seen at around 9:30 p.m. Monday, March 10.

Capt. Jeff Burgner said Delgado left her home in the 200 block of Monroe Street after an argument with her mother. He described the teen as a runaway.

"At this point we're not suspecting any foul play," Burgner said. "She left of her own accord following a disagreement with a relative."

Burgner said police believe Delgado left on foot. He said investigators have been working with a school resource officer at the teen's high school and using social media to assist in finding her.

"We're tracking down a few different leads," Burgner said Tuesday afternoon.

Anyone with information regarding Delgado is asked to contact Oswego police at 630-551-7300.
