Illinois State Police charges six after year-long investigation.

An Oswego woman has been charged with one count of fraud and two counts of theft for allegedly trying to bilk more than $10,000 from the state’s Medicaid progam.

Nicole S. Rogers, 38, 173 Eisenhower Drive, was one of six individuals recently charged following a 12- to 18-month investigation into personal assistants hired by the Illinois Department of Human Services who were allegedly billing Medicaid for services not rendered, according to an Illinois State Police press release.

The assistants were part of the state’s Department of Rehabilitative Services Home Assistance program.
