Oswego Woman Indicted For Stealing Nearly $250,000 From Company: Report

Patricia "Patty" Ferrer, 45, reportedly used her company's credit card to go on personal shopping spree and wrote forged checks from the company account.

An Oswego woman has been indicted for stealing nearly $250,000 from her Aurora company, according to the Aurora Beacon.

Patricia “Patty” Ferrer, 45, 400 block of Lennox Drive, Oswego, was a former financial bookkeeper of an Aurora business and reportedly stole tens of thousands of dollars worth of forged checks through the company account and used the company credit card to go on personal shopping sprees, according to Kendall County Court records.
Ferrer was charged with 24 counts of felony forgery after reportedly forging 19 checks, with a total of $62,688.93, and depositing them into her personal account between May and December of last year.
