Oswego, Yorkville Men Charged in 2009 Sexual Assault
Police are still looking for Oswego man.
Oswego Police have charged two men in a July 26, 2009 alleged sexual assault that took place at a party in the 100 block of Spencer Lane, Oswego.
Robert T. Kiernan, 20, of the same address, and James D. Batt, 20, of the 0-99 block of Riverside Drive, Yorkville, each were charged with two counts of sexual assault, one count of sexual abuse and one count of unlawful restraint, according to a news release from Oswego Police.
Media Relations Officer Rob Sherwood said Batt is being held in the Kendall County Jail, while police are still searching for Kiernan, whose family has since moved from the Spencer Lane home. Arrest warrants were issued for both men Feb. 10.
