Oswego Blotter: Woman Threatened Man with Metal Spike, Police Say

Someone spray-painted graffiti at St. Luke's Lutheran Church and school, 63 Fernwood Drive, Montgomery, according to Kendall County Sheriff's police.

Mariah Clark, 18, of the 0-50 block of Fieldpoint Road, Montgomery, was arrested in the 0-100 block of Hillcrest Court, unincorporated Montgomery, and charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor and issued a warning for illegal transportation of alcohol, police said. Clark was the passenger in a vehicle stopped for an equipment violation, according to police.

Someone damaged the tires on vehicles parked in the 0-100 block of Saugatuck in unincorporated Montgomery, and a landscaping block was thrown through a basement window, according to Kendall County Sheriff's police.

Someone broke the window on a vehicle parked at L.A. Fitness, 201 Ogden Falls in Oswego and removed a purse from the car, police said.

Oswego police are investigating a residential burglary in the 200 block of Long Beach. Police said there are currently no suspects in the case.

April 11

Someone punctured two tires on a car parked in the 400 block of Danbury Court in Oswego, police said, and stole a spare tire from the vehicle.

Megan Schmidt, 25, of the 100 block of Circle Drive, unincorporated Montgomery, was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff's police and charged with domestic battery after allegedly battering a man in her household and threatening him with a metal stake, police said. Schmidt was also charged with assault, according to police.
