Oswego/Montgomery Blotter: Vehicle Falls Off Tow Truck; Driver Accused of Hit and Run

Someone stole a demo cell phone, worth an estimated $300, from Best Buy, 2600 Route 34, Oswego.

May 5

A resident in the 0-100 block of Briarcliff Road in unincorporated Montgomery reported a hit and run accident after a vehicle reportedly fell off a tow truck and damaged property in her front yard. The victim said the tow truck driver left the area without exchanging his complete information with her.

May 6

Antoine Jackson, 32, of the 100 block of Dolores Street, unincorporated Oswego, was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff's police and charged with domestic battery after deputies responded to a report of a domestic battery at the home. A female resident at the home reported that she was punched in the head, resulting in a laceration and swelling of the face, police said.
