Monday, Oct. 1
Theft
The Oswego Police Department responded to a report of a theft that occured sometime on Thursday, Sept. 7 at Oswego High School. A cell phone valued at $600 was stolen from a locker room.
Sunday, Sept. 30
Aggravated battery to officer

Andres Alonso, 19, of the 900 block of Gates Street, Aurora, was arrested at 2:39 a.m. at Fifth Street and Route 34 and charged with two counts of aggravated resisting, two counts of aggravated battery to officer, obstructing police officer, retail theft and driving with a suspended license, said the Oswego Police Department.

The Oswego Police Department responded to a report of a residential theft that occurred at an unknown time in the 400 block of Barnaby Drive. A bicycle valued at $150 was stolen from the driveway.
Burglary
- Oswego police responded to a report of a residential burglary that occurred at an unknown time in the 400 block of Barnaby Drive. A bicycle valued at $100 was taken from an open garage. Police are investigating.
- Oswego police responded to a report of theft that occurred at an unknown time at the Pineridge Condos. About $4,500 worth of items were reportedly stolen from the clubhouse.
- Oswego police responded to a report of a burglary to a vehicle that occurred sometime between Sept. 28 and Sept. 29 in the 300 block of Cobblestone Court. A GPS unit and a purse valued at $330 were removed from an unlocked vehicle.
Friday, Sept. 28
Theft
Oswego police responded to a report of a theft from the Shell Gas Station on Route 34 that occurred at 8:33 p.m. $44.01 worth of gas was taken without payment.
Thursday, Sept. 27
Disorderly conduct
Two female juveniles, 15 and 16, were arrested at 8:23 a.m. at Oswego High School and charged with disorderly conduct, said Oswego police.
Domestic battery
Frank Szwacz, 30, of the 300 block of Beaver Crossing was arrested at 4 p.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery and interference with reporting a domestic battery, said Oswego police.
Theft
Oswego police responded to a report of residential theft that occurred sometime between Sept. 8 and Sept. 22 in the 400 block of Main Street. A Ryobi circular saw, valued at $120, was reported stolen.
Driving with license revoked
Luis A. Gallegos, 29, of the 1700 block of Walnut Park Lane, Aurora, was arrested at 12:55 p.m. at Fifth Street and Route 34 and charged with driving with a revoked license, said Oswego police. He was also cited with a seatbelt charge.
Warrant for criminal trespass to land, obstructing justice, controlled substance
Darwin L. Tripplett of the 200 block of South Adams was arrested at 10:45 p.m. at Washington and Adams and charged with a warrant for controlled substance, criminal trespass to land and obstructing justice, said Oswego police.
Wednesday, Sept. 26
No valid driver’s license
- Mandy L. Massey, 36, of the 1800 block of Thornapple, Aurora, was arrested at 6:40 p.m. at Barnaby and Douglas and charged with not having a valid driver’s license, said Oswego police.
- Fernando Velasquez, 30, of the 200 block of Stuart Avenue, Aurora, was arrested at 7:33 p.m. at Douglas and Long Beach and charged with not having a valid driver’ s license and not having insurance, said Oswego police.
Driving with suspended license, avoiding a traffic control device
Kyle R. Wall, 22, of the 4100 block of Landing Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 5:55 p.m. at Route 34 and Chesterfield and charged with driving with a suspended license and avoiding a traffic control device, said Oswego police.
