Theft

Oswego Police are investigating a reported residential theft of prescription medicine from the 600 block of Manhattan Circle, that happened at an unknown time and date.

Oswego Police are investating the theft of fuel from A Speedway at Route 34 and Wolf Road. The theft was reported at $40.

Sunday, August 12

DUI and improper lane usage

Eduardo Ramos, 36, of the 300 block of Chicago Road, was arrested at 3:55 a.m. in the 300 block of Chicago Road and charged with a DUI as well as improper lane usage and an improper turn, according to .

Unlawful consumption of alcohol

Three juveniles – a 15 year-old female, 15 year-old male and 16 year-old female – were arrested at 12:01 a.m. in the 400 block of Frankfort and charged with the unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to Oswego Police.

Violation of warrant

Robert Aaron Rockel, 27, of the 300 block of Township Road, Chesapeake, Ohio, was arrested at 3:28 p.m. at Longbeach and Kensington and charged with probation violation of a warrant, according to Oswego Police.

Saturday, August 11

Domestic battery and theft

The Oswego Police Department is investigating a report of domestic battery and a theft that occurred in the 500 block of Litchfield Way at 9:55 p.m. The theft was estimated at $400.

Suspended license

Cirilo R. Guerrero, 25, of the 500 block of Forest Avenue, West Chicago, was arrested at 3:24 a.m. at Route 34 and Route 30 and charged with driving while license is suspended, according to Oswego Police.

Failure to Appear

Robert J. Morales, 35, of the 200 block of Presioewtior Boulevard, was arrested at 9:15 a.m. at Route 34 and Route 71 and charged with failure to appear, according to Oswego Police.

Friday, August 10

Forgery

Police are investigating the report of a forgery that occurred sometime between June 29 and July 24 at the Oswego Community Bank. A total loss of $2,992.33 was reported.

Thursday, August 9

DUI, endangering a child

Christopher R. Phillips, 24, of the 5100 block of Flagstone Loves Drive, Peru, was arrested at 10:03 p.m. at Main and Jefferson streets and charged with DUI and endangering the life of a child, according to Oswego Police.

Theft

Oswego Police responded to a reported wallet theft at 2:11 p.m. at the Jewel on Orchard Road. The case is still under investigation.

Unlawful consumption of alcohol

Louis J. Yarbrough, 19, of the 0-99 block of Manchester, was arrested at 6:42 p.m. at 56 Route 25 and charged with the unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to Oswego Police.

In-state warrant

Maxwell R. Black, 22, of the 700 block of Spires Drive, was arrested at 6:42 p.m. at 56 Route 25 and charged with an in-state warrant, according to Oswego Police.

Criminal damage to property

David E. Lodor, 36, of the 1000 block of 5th Street, Aurora, was arrested at 10:20 a.m. in the 400 block of Newport Circle and charged with criminal damage to property, according to Oswego Police. Damages were estimated at $20.

Wednesday, August 8

Car theft

Police responded to a reported car theft at 5:45 a.m. at the 400 block of Bluegrass Parkway. The victim reported someone took items from his car, estimated at a value of $2,274.

No insurance or valid driver’s license

Nazaria Cielo, 35, of the 400 block of Ashland, Aurora, was arrested at 12:06 a.m. at Douglas and Townes Crossing and charged with having no insurance and no valid driver’s license, according to Oswego Police.

No insurance and driving with suspended license

Irma Reyes, 54, of the 0-99 block of Whitney Way, Montgomery, was arrested at 3:20 a.m. at Douglas and Longbeach and charged with having no insurance and driving with a suspended license, said Oswego Police.

No valid driver’s license and improper turn

A male juvenile, 16, of the 600 block of Springbrook Trail Road, was arrested at 2:45 a.m. at Route 34 and Heritage and charged with having no valid driver’s license and an improper turn, said Oswego Police.

No valid driver’s license

Kurtis M. Behm, 20, of the 400 block of Newport Circle, was arrested at 9:14 p.m. at Farmington Lakes and Heritage and charged with having no valid driver’s license, said Oswego Police.

Tuesday, August 7

Residential theft

Police responded to a reported burglary that occurred somewhere between 5 p.m. Aug. 6 and 10 a.m. Aug. 7 in the 200 block of Presidential Blvd.  The victim reported someone had taken a leather binder full of work papers from his unlocked car, valued at $125.

Suspended license and no insurance

Gloria Ferrer, 29, of the 0-99 block of Woodridge, Montgomery, was arrested at 2:25 a.m. in the 4000 block of Route 71 and charged with driving with a suspended license and having no insurance, according to the Oswego Police. She was also cited for speeding.

No valid driver’s license

Benjamin B. Perez, 24, of the 0-99 block of South Testa, Naperville, was arrested at 12:10 p.m. at Century and Ashley and charged with not having a valid driver’s license, according to Oswego Police.

4 warrants for failure to appear while driving with a suspended license

Christopher S. Aguilera, 20, of 2000 block of Farmington Lakes was arrested at Wooley and Colchester at 9:41 p.m. and charged with four warrants for failure to appear in regards to driving with a suspended license, according to Oswego Police.

Possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis, improper lane usage

Anthony J. Bomkowski, 20, of the 0-99 block of Linole Drive West, Montgomery, was arrested at 10:35 p.m. at Route 71 and Liberty Court and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of cannabis over 2.5 grams and improper lane usage, according to Oswego Police.
