Tuesday, Oct. 18

Fight

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office responded to Circle Drive East and Greenbriar Road at about 6:30 p.m. Tuesday for a report of a fight in progress. When they arrived, deputies found two people who said they were involved in the disturbance, but neither wanted to sign a complaint. No additional action was taken.

Instrument taken

A mother of a student at Traughber Junior High reported that her daughter’s band instrument was stolen sometime before 11 a.m. Monday, according to an report. The instrument is valued at $795.

Marijuana possession

Matthew Bloomquist, 28, of 622 Briarwood Lane, Oswego, was charged with possession of marijuana at about 7:40 p.m. Monday at Route 25 and North Street in Oswego Township, according a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. Bloomquist was stopped after disobeying a stop sign, the report said.

Friday, Oct. 14

Possible drug overdose

An unidentified 22-year-old man, of the 300 block of Boulder Hill Pass in Boulder Hill, was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora after Kendall County Sheriff’s Office deputies found him unresponsive at his home around 12:52 a.m., police said. He was breathing when deputies arrived, having been called for a possible drug overdose, police said. A syringe was found at the scene, according to police. No further information was available.

Stolen Grand Prix

A maroon 2006 Pontiac Grand Prix was stolen from a driveway in the first block of Fernwood Road in Boulder Hill sometime before 10:39 a.m., police said.

Wednesday, Oct. 12

Defacement

Kendall County Sheriff’s Office deputies are investigating vulgar words written on the side of the Neighborhood Church of the Brethren at 155 Boulder Hill Pass. The graffiti was written sometime before 6:06 p.m., police said.

Monday, Oct. 10

Great bag of fire

Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a possible arson that occurred at 11:41 a.m. in the first block of Ingleshire Road in Boulder Hill. Police said a fire that damaged the siding of a garage began when a bag of lawn refuse caught fire “by an unknown means.” The total damage was estimated at $1,000, police said.
