Burglary
Oswego Police are investigating a burglary to a home in the 300 block of Springbrook Trail South that occurred sometime before 3 p.m. Monday. About $2850 worth of belongings were taken from the home, police said.

Oswego Police are investigating the theft of a cell phone at T.J. Maxx at about 6:40 p.m. Sunday. The phone was valued at about $300.

Purse stolen

An Aurora woman who was working out at LA Fitness, 201 Ogden Falls Blvd., Saturday at about 11 a.m. had her purse stolen from her vehicle, according to an Oswego Police report. The woman’s car window was smashed to gain entry to her vehicle. The purse was valued at about $450 and the vehicle sustained about $250 in damages.

Skate park tagged
Oswego police took a report for graffiti damage at the skate park at Praire Point Community Park at about 7 a.m. Aug. 5. Graffiti was painted on concrete and several structures at the facility. Damage is estimated at about $500.
Assault
Tony D. Hartness 25, 237 Monroe St., Oswego, was charged with assault and criminal damage to property at about 9:15 a.m. Aug. 5 at his home, according to an Oswego Police report. He was given a Sept. 14 court date.

Domestic battery
Joseph G. Driscoll, 53, 721 Bonaventure Road, Oswego, was charged with domestic battery at about 11:20 p.m. Aug. 4 at his home, according to an Oswego Police report. Court date information was not available.
