Man nets DUI charge

Daniel T. Magic, 18, 443 Main St., Oswego, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage at about 1:15 a.m. at Chicago Road and Garfield Street, according to an Oswego police report.

Friday, Aug. 12

Copper pipe stolen from homes

Oswego police are investigating the theft of about $7,650 worth of copper between 6 a.m. Aug. 11 and 7:30 a.m. Aug. 12 from two homes under construction in the 100 block of Chapin Way, according to an Oswego police report.

Man charged with DUI

Albert D. Peterson, 48, of Chicago, was charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and improper lane usage at about 12:45 a.m. at Douglas Road and Seasons Ridge, according to an Oswego police report.

Wednesday, Aug. 10

Vehicle scratched

Someone damaged a vehicle by scratching it with an unknown object sometime between Aug. 4 and about 5:30 p.m. Aug. 10 in the 4500 block of Route 71 in Oswego, according to an Oswego police report.
