Monday, August 6

Criminal damage to state property and disorderly conduct

Thomas A. Zenisek, 41, of the 100 block of Tyler Street, was charged with both criminal damange to state property and disorderly conduct, according to . Zenisek was originally arrested for disorderly conduct, but also broke a window of the transporting squad car.

No valid driver’s license

Noel I. Ramos, 20, of the 1600 block of Liberty, Aurora, was arrested at 11:58 p.m. at Route 30 and Goodwin Road and charged with having no valid driver’s license, according to the Oswego Police.

Drug paraphernalia

Christina M. Lyznicki, 22, of the 300 block of Andover, was arrested at 11:13 p.m. at Route 71 and Paradise Parkway and charged with a warrant for possession of drug paraphernalia, according to the Oswego Police.

Sunday, August 5

Illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor

Luis D. Mendoza, 18, of the 800 block of Henman, Aurora, was arrested at 4:19 a.m. at Douglas Road and Long Beach and charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to the Oswego Police.

Friday, August 3

Retail Theft

Police are investigating a case of retail theft that occured on July 30 that occured in the 2300 block of Route 34. A value of $1761.80 was stolen.

Damage to public property

A tree was damaged at a state supported property at 19 Main Street at an unknown time, police said. The loss was estimated at about $100.

Damage to a parked car

Two windows were broken on a parked car at the 300 block of Hemlock Lane sometime before 5:15 a.m. Wednesday morning, said police. Damages were estimated at $400.

Car accident with underage alcohol consumption

A car accident occurring at Route 34 and Wolf’s Crossing at approximately 7 p.m. Wednesday resulted in a male juvenile, 17, being charged with underage consumption of an alcohol by a minor and zero tolerance.  

Wednesday, August 1

Domestic battery

Robert E. Becker, 48, of the 200 block of Fox Chase Drive, Oswego, was arrested and charged with a count of domestic battery for an incident occurring on Tuesday, July 31 at 9:20 p.m., in the 200 block of Fox Chase Drive, police said.

Failure to appear warrant

Charles A. Logue, 47, who was listed as homeless, was arrested at 1:20 p.m. Wednesday at Route 30 and Jewel on a failure to appear warrant, according to police.

Richard Gonzalez, 40, of the 0-99 block of Stonehill Rd., was arrested on a failure to appear warrant at 8:30 a.m. Wednesday at Route 30 and Route 34, said police.
