Sunday, May 27

Drunken driving

Andrew Vega, 21, of the 1300 block of Webster Street in Naperville, was charged with drunken driving, leaving the scene of an accident and driving without insurance after an incident at 5:10 a.m. on Route 34 at Route 31, said.

Possession

Two teenagers – one 16, one 17 – were charged with possession of drug paraphernalia after a traffic stop at 8 p.m. on Morgan Valley Drive at Prairieview Drive, Oswego police said.

Christina Flores, 32, of the 800 block of Birchwood Drive in Aurora, and Maria Zaragoza-Macias, 28, of the 700 block of Fifth Street in Aurora, were injured in a two-car crash at 8:49 p.m. on Route 30 at Treasure Drive, Oswego police said. They were taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, and no further information was available. Driver Alejandro Gomez-Santilian, 27, of the 700 block of Fifth Street in Aurora, was charged with driving without an valid license, police said.

Saturday, May 26

Another accident on 30

Patricia Ruiz, 41, of the 500 block of Ryegrass Court in Aurora, was injured in a two-car crash at 6:30 p.m. in the 1500 block of Route 30, Oswego police said. Ruiz was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center in Aurora, and no further information was available.

Friday, May 25

Theft from locker

Oswego police are investigating the theft of an iPhone and $44 from a locker at Oswego High School, 4250 Rt. 71, that occurred sometime between 11 a.m. and noon.

Who are you?

An unidentified 16-year-old boy was charged with failing to give police ID after striking an unattended motor vehicle on Pearces Ford Drive at Waterford Drive at 4 p.m., Oswego police said.

Thursday, May 24

Needles and haystacks

Anthony Dockett, 24, of the 600 block of Otter Way, was charged with possession of hypodermic needles in the 200 block of Parkside Lane at 6 a.m., Oswego police said.

Hit and run

Oswego police are investigating a hit-and-run that occurred around 5:15 p.m. in the 2000 block of Farmington Lakes Drive. No one was injured in the accident, police said.

Battery charges

Daniel Hestekin, 41, of the 2000 block of Farmington Lakes Drive, was charged with domestic battery, interfering with the reporting of domestic battery, and unlawful restraint at his home at 11:30 p.m., Oswego police said.
