Disorderly conduct

Three 17-year-old Aurora girls were charged with disorderly conduct and one with resisting arrest at about 2:30 p.m. after a fight on school grounds at . All three were released to their parents.

Domestic battery

Scott Wadsworth, 47, 281 Waterbury Circle, was charged with domestic battery and obstructing a police officer at about 6:20 p.m. at his home, according to an Oswego police report. He was given an Oct. 14 court date.

Pedestrian hit by car

An 88-year-old Oswego man was taken to Rush-Copley Medical Center at about 3 p.m. after being struck by a car while crossing Franklin Street near Route 71. Doris Getz, 80, of Francesville, IN, was ticketed for failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident. The man was reported in good condition Tuesday afternoon.

Friday, Sept. 9           

Underage drinking

A 15-year-old Aurora girl was charged with illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor at about 8 p.m. at Oswego East High School, according to an Oswego police report. She was released to her parents.

Domestic battery, damage to property, assault

A 17-year-old Oswego boy was charged with two counts of domestic battery, criminal damage to property and aggravated assault after an incident in his home in the 200 block of Persimmon Lane at about 5 p.m., according to an Oswego police report. He was charged the next day at about noon and taken to the Kane County Juvenile Justice Center.

Tuesday, Sept. 6

Car break-in

A resident reported that her car window was smashed and her purse stolen from inside while it was parked in the 200 block of Ogden Falls Boulevard sometime before 7 p.m. The purse and its contents were valued at $150.

Domestic battery

Kevin Tierney, 43, 226 Longbeach Road, Oswego, was charged with domestic battery at about 11 p.m. at his home, according to an Oswego police report. No information was given on a court date.

Monday, Sept. 5

Burglary

A resident in the 500 block of Tewksbery Court reported a break-in to the home at about 11:30 a.m., according to an Oswego police report. The resident reported someone broke into a downstairs bedroom and stole items valued at about $250.
