Battery at Walmart

Vanessa Villareal, 24, of Aurora, and Kenya Riley, 37, of Plano, were both charged with battery at about 5 a.m. at Walmart, according to an report. Both were given Dec. 13 court dates.

Friday, Nov. 11

Battery to a police officer

Alexander Reinhart, 25, of Sugar Grove, was charged with aggravated battery to a police officer at about 11 p.m. at 4571 Route 71, according to an Oswego police report. Johnny Lewis Jr., 37, of Aurora, was also charged with obstructing a police officer during the same incident. Both men were given Dec. 19 court dates.

Vehicle break-in

A vehicle parked in the 200 block of Concord Drive was broken into sometime before 12:15 a.m. Nov. 11, according to an Oswego police report.  Several items were removed valuing about $1,000.

Marijuana possession

Ashley Engelhart, 19, of Aurora, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 10:15 p.m. at Cornell and Barnaby streets, according to an Oswego police report. She was given a Dec. 9 court date.

Tuesday, Nov. 8

Marijuana possession

Brittany Peterman, 127 N. Madison St., was charged with driving while license suspended and possession of drug paraphernalia at about 8 p.m. at Glendal and Ashlawn avenues, according to an Oswego police report. Her passenger, Joseph Cortino, 204 Boulder Hill Pass, was charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia. They both were given a Dec. 9 court date.

Trailer, Bobcat stolen

Oswego police are investigating the theft of a flatbed trailer and Bobcat Bucket that was on the trailer from the area of Andover Drive and Spencer Lane sometime between Nov. 5 and 8. The value of the items was placed at about $4,700.

GPS taken

Oswego police are investigating the theft of a GPS unit from an unlocked vehicle parked near Concord Drive South and Galenda Road sometime before 7 a.m. The GPS was valued at about $285.

Sunday, Nov. 6

Underage drinking

Mauricio Carrillo, 19, 472 Greenview Court, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor at about 3:45 a.m. at his home, according to an Oswego police report. He was given a Dec. 9 court date.
