Police Blotter: Hot Tub Stolen

Oswego-area police reports March 4-7

Monday, March 7

Theft
The owner of a home in the 0-99 block of Fieldpoint Road in unincorporated Oswego Township reported a hot tub was stolen from the home sometime between Feb. 9 and 19, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report.  The theft was reported Monday.

Sunday, March 6

Domestic Battery
Steven Pettry, 36, of 2021 Farmington Lakes Drive, Oswego was charged with domestic battery at about 11 a.m. Sunday at his home, according to an Oswego Police report. He was given a March 22 court date.

DUI
Isis L. Ruiz, 32, of the 500 block of Chestnut Drive in Oswego, was arrested around 12:30 a.m. near the intersection of Shandrew Drive and West Ogden Avenue, Napervillle police said. She was charged with operating an uninsured motor vehicle, speeding and driving under the influence of alcohol. Her bail was set at $3,000.

FRIDAY, MARCH 4

DUI
Kevin Whitehead, 46, of Oswego, was charged with drunken driving after a traffic stop at 1:40 a.m. in the 1300 block of Douglas Road, Montgomery police said.
