Police Blotter: Juvenile Charged with Domestic Battery After Internet Privileges Revoked

Domestic battery
A 16-year-old male juvenile was charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property at about noon Feb. 19 in the first block of Circle Drive West in unincorporated Oswego Township, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. Deputies were called to the scene for a report of the juvenile pushing a family member into a wall after learning that family member had revoked his Internet privileges at the local library, according to reports. Police said the criminal damage charge stemmed from the juvenile cutting and destroying the home's telephone line.

Retail theft, criminal trespass
Trejamario Cook, 18, 32 Hampton Road, Montgomery, was charged with retail theft, criminal trespass and obstructing a police officer at about 11:45 p.m. Feb. 19 at Walmart, according to Oswego police. Cook also was with one count of burglary to a motor vehicle in a string of car robberies dating back to last summer. He's also facing retail theft charges stemming from a

Friday, Feb. 18

DUI, paraphernalia possession
Matthew J. Priest, 32, 3688 Prairieview Drive, was charged with driving under the influence, possession of drug paraphernalia and improper lane use at about 2 a.m. Feb. 18 after being stopped at Route 71 and Forest Avenue, according to Oswego police reports. He was given a March 22 court date.

DUI, speeding
Christopher Duhamel, 44, 229 Angela Circle, Oswego, was charged with DUI and speeding at about 11:30 p.m. Feb. 18 after being stopped at Route 34 and Fifth Street, according to Oswego police. He was given a March 11 court date.

Thursday, Feb. 17

Paraphernalia possession
Kaylee A. Heckl, 19, 307 Franchesca Court, Oswego, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia at about 1:15 a.m. Feb. 17 after being stopped at Route 30 and Douglas Road, according to Oswego police. She was given a court date of March 11.
