Criminal Damage to Property

The Kendall County Sheriff's Office is investigating damage to an RV parked in the 100 block of Paddock in Montgomery at 7:29 a.m., according to reports.

Frank Tyler Ramos, 19, of 82 Seton Creek Drive, Oswego, and Ryan Christopher Showerman, 18, of 2529 Hartfield Drive, Montgomery, were charged with possession of cannabis and drug equipment at about 9:30 p.m. at Sundown Lane, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report.

  • Takenya L. Locas, 23, of 1400 Libitt Road Apartment 204, was charged with driving with a license suspended at about 10:20 p.m. on Route 34, according to an Oswego police report. She was given an April 13 court date.
  • Kathryn L. Phillips, 46, of 100 N. Kidder Street Apartment 3, was charged with driving with license suspended and operating an uninsured vehicle at Route 34 and Orchard, according to an Oswego police report. She was given an April 25 court date.
  • Jennifer C. Benson, 43, of 56 Afton Road, Montgomery, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license and speeding on Cornill Road, according to an Oswego police report. She has been given an April 25 court date.
  • Michael J. Fite, 39, of 107 Boulder Hill Pass Apartment 18, Montgomery, was arrested at 12:10 a.m. and charged with driving without a valid driver’s license at Route 34 and Ogden Falls Boulevard, according to an Oswego police report. He has been given an April 11 court date.

Theft

  • A representative for Verizon Wireless reported that someone stole a copper from a cell tower located at 142 Kirkland Circle, Oswego about 10:30 a.m. The copper is valued at $1,500. This theft is pending further investigation, according to an Oswego police report.
  • Oswego police are investigating a theft of scrap metal report in which brake rotors were stolen at 12:58 p.m. at North Adams Street and Second Street. The parts stolen have a value of $1,000.

Monday, March 26

No Valid Driver’s License and Curfew

  • At 1:22 a.m., the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office conducted a traffic stop on a vehicle for no rear registration light at Circle Drive West at Boulder Hill Pass in Montgomery. Two female juveniles were taken into custody without incident as a result of the stop for curfew and for the driver not having a valid driver’s license, according to a Kendall County police report.
  • Salvador C. Urrutia, 27, of 1000 Tollview, Aurora, was charged with driving without a valid driver’s license at 1:39 a.m. at Mill Road and Montgomery Road, according to an Oswego police report. He has been given an April 10 court date. 

Theft

  • Oswego police took a retail theft report of a drive-off involving a gold chevy Malibu at 4:45 p.m. at Route34 and Fifth Street.
  • Oswego police are investigating a residential burglary that occurred at 12:15 a.m. on the 400 block of Terrace Lane, Oswego. Police said about $12,000 worth of goods were taken.

Sunday, March 25

Driving with License Suspended

  • Jose L. Alcaraz, 37, of the 500 5th Street, Aurora, was charged with driving with license suspended at 7:53 p.m. at Franklin and Polk, according to an Oswego police report. He was given an April 10 court date.
  • Ivan Estrada, 20, of 308 Spring, Aurora, was charged with driving with license suspended and failure to appear at 12:41 a.m. on Route 71 and Franklin, according to Oswego police. He was given an April 16 court date.

Arrest

Zachary A. Cherry, 20, of River Street, Montgomery, was arrested at 1:46 a.m. at Chesterfield and Boulder Hill Pass and charged with failure to appear to the Montgomery Police Department, according to an Oswego police report.

Possession of Cannabis

Sergio D. Vidiro, 18, of 500 Sumner, Aurora was charged with the possession of less than 2.5 grams of cannabis and speeding at midnight at Route 34 and Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego police said. He has been given an April 10 court date.

Saturday, March 24

Aggravated Battery/ Mob Action

The Sheriff’s Office is investigating a report in which a Montgomery teen said he was knocked off his bike and punched in the face on Circle Drive East in Boulder Hill at 9:30 p.m. The victim said he did not know his attackers. He suffered minor facial injuries, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's Office report.

Consumption of Alcohol by a Minor

Jessica S Meas, 19, of 100 Fairfield Drive, Romeoville, was charged at 3:46 a.m. with consumption of alcohol by a minor and not having a plate light at Route 34 and Route 30, according to an Oswego police report. She has been given an April 10 court date.

Driving with Suspended License

  • Luis A. Sierra, 28, of 800 N. Hickory, Joliet, was charged with driving while license was suspended, not having insurance, and improper lane use at 1:54 a.m. at Mill and Goodwin, according to an Oswego police report. He has been given an April 10 court date.
  • Jason A. Ware, 27, of 904 Apartment 208B, Aurora was charged with driving with license suspended and a defective muffler at 4:30 a.m. on Route 30, Oswego police said.  He has been given an April 27 court date.

Possession of Cannabis/ Unlawful use of Weapon

Dante C. Dodds, 29, of 181 Gregory Street, Aurora was charged with the unlawful use of a weapon and the possession of under 10 grams of cannabis at 4:30 a.m. on Route 30, according to an Oswego police report. He has been given an April 27 court date.

Friday, March 23

Driving with License Revoked, Speeding

Michelle A Spangler, 37, of 57 Circle Drive East, Montgomery, was charged with driving while license revoked and speeding at 11:25 a.m. at Old Post Road and Douglas, according to an Oswego Police report.

Theft

Oswego police received a report of possible unauthorized use of a credit card with charges of $334.70. The theft took place between Feb. 3 to March 3.

Arrest

NJ Ryan, 18, of 247 Morgan Valley Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 8:10 a.m. on a failure-to-appear Kendall County warrant. He was taken to Kendall County Court.

Theft

Oswego police are investigating the theft of an Oswego East High School student’s cell phone, valued at $225 and reported missing at 3 p.m.
