Monday, Feb. 20

Unlawful use of a credit card

Thomas R. Prater, 36, of North Aurora, was charged with felony unlawful use of a credit card after he used a stolen credit card at an Oswego business in August, Oswego police said Monday. Police said Prater got the card during a car break-in in North Aurora. He is being held at Kane County jail on other charges, police said.

Denis Day, 68, of Fort Collins, CO, has been charged with harassment by electronic communications, Oswego police announced Monday. Police took a report of Day harassing his Oswego ex-wife, her family, friends and co-workers with text messages, emails and phone calls. A warrant has been issued for Day’s arrest and as of Monday, he had not been taken into custody.

Retail theft

Oswego police charged Roy McIntosh, 52, and Dana Fraught, 53, both of 445 N. River St. in Montgomery, with retail theft at about 8 p.m. Friday at Walmart, according to Oswego police reports. They were both given March 14 court dates.

Underage drinking, retail theft

Tyler Zolper, 18, of Montgomery, was charged with retail theft, consumption and possession of alcohol by a minor at about 8 p.m. Thursday at Walmart, according to an Oswego police report. He was given a March 13 court date.
