Possession of cannabis, speeding
Tashione Grant, 20, of the 600 block of Preston Drive, Bolingbrook, was arrested at 1:53 p.m. at Washington and 71 and charged with the possession of cannabis, said Oswego police. She was also cited for speeding.
No valid driver’s license

Sofia Ulgade, 21, of the 200 block of North Oakhurst, was arrested at 11:25 p.m. at Douglas and Seasons Ridge and charged for driving without a valid license, said Oswego police.
Monday, Dec. 10
No valid driver’s license

Noe Mejia, 25, of the 200 block of Springbrook Trail South, was arrested at 11:25 p.m. at Route 30 and Goodwin and charged with driving without a valid license, said Oswego police. He was also cited for no insurance and an improper turn.
Retail theft
Oswego police are investigating a reported retail theft that occurred at on Dec. 8 at 6:30 p.m. in the 2700 block of Route 34. A reported $1,149.98 was stolen.
Sunday, Dec. 9
No valid driver’s license
Valentin Tlahvhez-Periz, 55, of the 1900 block of Fescue Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 2:00 a.m. at Route 34 and Route 30 and charged for driving without a valid license, said Oswego police.
Theft
Oswego police took a report for a theft that occurred at 12:00 a.m. at Rosebush and Blossom Lanes.
Saturday, Dec. 8
Burglary
Oswego police are investigating a reported burglary to a motor vehicle that occurred at an unknown time in the 700 block of Churchill Lane. A GPS unit valued at $100 was removed from a motor vehicle.
Theft
Oswego police took a report for a theft that occurred at 5:24 p.m. at Fifth Street and Route 34.
Friday, Dec. 7
Theft
Oswego police responded to a report of a theft that occurred at an unknown time in the Mill Race Creek subdivision. A reported 5 signs valued at $560 were stolen throughout the subdivision.
Assault
Ryan W. Stratton, 30, of the 15600 block of Old Fairfield Road, Mount Vernon, was arrested at 2:56 a.m. at Route 71 and Washington and charged with two counts of assault, said Oswego police.
Disorderly conduct
A male juvenile, 16, was arrested at 12:30 p.m. at Oswego High School and charged with disorderly conduct, said Oswego police.
