Friday, Dec. 28

Retail theft, warrant

  • Terence Williams, 47, of the 600 block of Morton Avenue, Aurora; and Joanne Alvarez, 20, of the 900 block of Superior Street, Aurora, were arrested at 12:40 a.m. in the 2300 block of Route 34, said Oswego Police. Williams was arrested for retail theft and driving with a suspended license. Alvarez was arrested for retail theft and a failure to appear warrant.
  • Laura J. Horn, 29, of the 400 block of Gage Street, Somonauk, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. in the 2700 block of Route 34 and charged with retail theft, said Oswego police.

Wednesday, Dec. 26

Hit and run

Oswego police are investigating a reported hit and run that occurred at 12:42 p.m. at the Oswego Walmart on Route 34. An unknown semi truck reportedly hit a tree and stop sign, causing between $500 and $1500 worth of damage.

Theft

Oswego police are investigating a reported theft that occurred between Dec. 21 and Dec. 22 in the 200 block of Fosmer Drive. $30 was reported stolen.

Retail theft

Robert A. Green, 20; Laticia Delahere, 44; and a juvenile, all of the 800 block of Symphony Drive, Aurora, were arrested at 9:00 p.m. in the 2300 block of Route 34 and charged with retail theft, said Oswego police. They reportedly stole an estimate of $110.

Tuesday, Dec. 25

Failure to appear warrant

Weneslao J. Padilla, 23, of the 0-99 block of North Anderson, Aurora, was arrested at 8:36 p.m. at Route 30 and Douglas and charged with two failure to appear warrants; driving with license suspended and the unlawful possession of cannabis, said Oswego police.

Monday, Dec. 24

Property theft

Oswego police are investigating a reported property theft in which items in a purse were used without permission at an unknown time and an unknown location.

Retail theft

Oswego police are investigating a reported retail theft that occurred at 1:12 p.m. in the 2300 block of Route 34. An estimated $245.45 was reported stolen.

Sunday, Dec. 23

Failure to appear warrant

Jillian M. Barrigan-Anayag, 24, of the 500 block of North Washington, Batavia, was arrested at 1:45 a.m. in the 2800 block of Route 34 and charged with a failure to appear warrant out of Kane County, said Oswego police.

Retail theft

Oswego police are investigating a reported retail theft that occurred at 8:34 a.m. in the 1100 block of Route 34. Fuel was reported stolen.

Saturday, Dec. 22

DUI

Jandra K. Lopez, 19, of the 14400 block of Gerasol Drive, Plainfield, was arrested at 4:00 a.m. at Route 71 and Forrest Ave. and charged with driving under the influence with a blood alcohol level greater than .08, said Oswego police. She was also cited for improper lane usage.

Damage to property

Oswego police are investigating reported damage to property that occurred at an unknown time in the 400 block of Prairieview Drive. A decorative cement lantern was reported to be knocked over and broken.

Friday, Dec. 21

Possession of cannabis

Luis A. Abrego, 18, of the 2700 block of Cranton, Yorkville, was arrested at 9:15 p.m. at Routes 34 and 30 and charged with the unlawful possession of cannabis, said Oswego police.

Retail theft

  • Kelly S. Degand,  34, was arrested at 10:22 p.m. at the Walmart on Route 34 and charged with retail theft, said Oswego police. She was reported to have stolen $1087.71.
  • Jeremy M. Carver, 18, of the 200 block of East Washington Street, Oswego; Xavier Reginaldo, 18, of the 600 block of Roosevelt Drive, Oswego; and a male juvenile, 17, of Oswego, were arrested at 8:10 a.m. at Harrison and Washington and charged with retail theft, said Oswego police. They reportedly stole an estimate of $2,000.

In-state warrant

Nancy Gonalez, 32, of the 0-99 block of State Street, Aurora, was arrested at 12:45 a.m. at Walmart on Route 34 and charged with an in-state warrant, said Oswego police.

Thursday, Dec. 20

Domestic battery

Michael R. Carver, 43, of the 200 block of East Washington, Oswego, was arrested at 8:10 p.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery, said Oswego police.

Warrant

Timothy L. Boukguire, 35, of the 100 block of Kirkland Circle, Oswego, was arrested at 4:00 p.m. at his residence and charged with a warrant, said Oswego police.

Criminal damage to property

Oswego Police are investigating a reported criminal damage to state property that occurred at an unknown time at Boulder Hill Elementary. The rope to the flag pole was reported cut, an estimated $50 in damage.
