Oswego-area police reports, March 26 to April 3

Sunday, April 3

Property damage
A resident in the 100 block of Circle Drive East in Boulder Hill reported a windshield of a vehicle parked at the home was damaged at about 6:30 p.m. Sunday, according to a Kendall County Sheriff's office report. The incident is under investigation and sheriff's police have a suspect, the report said.

DUI
Joseph P. Cecchi, 47, 2270 Andrew Trail, Montgomery, was charged with driving under the influence, improper lane usage, failure to signal at about 2 a.m. Sunday at Route 34 and Orchard Road, according to an Oswego Police report. He was given an April 28 court date.

Saturday, April 2

Theft from vehicle
A resident reported her car was broken into at about 2:30 p.m. Saturday while it was parked in the 200 block of Ogden Falls Boulevard, according to an Oswego Police report. The window was broken to gain access and numerous valuable items were taken, the report said.

Underage drinking
Maurillo Carillo, 18, 472 Greenview Lane, Oswego, and Charles Dicken, 20, 505 Rosebush Lane, Oswego, were charged with zero tolerance consumption alcohol and possession of alcohol respectively at about 3:15 a.m. Saturday at Route 71 and Forrest Avenue, according to an Oswego Police report. They were given May 13 court dates.

DUI, child endangerment
Eric Overstreet, 38, of 326 S. Madison St., Oswego, was charged with two counts of driving under the influence and one count of child endangerment at about 7:30 p.m. Saturday at Madison and Douglas Streets, according to an Oswego Police reports. He was given a May 13 court date. 

Friday, April 1

Graffiti at skate park
The Oswegoland Park District reported that a vandal spray-painted graffiti on the skate structures at Chesterfield Park overnight Friday, according to an Oswego Police report. 

Theft from vehicle
Oswego Police received two burglary to vehicle reports at about 2:15 p.m. Friday at 126B Kirkland Circle, police said. Windows of the cars were smashed and purses were taken from the vehicles.

Thursday, March 31

DUI
Robert A. Schultz, 61, of Lake in the Hills, was charged with driving under the influence and improper lane usage at about 11:30 p.m. Thursday at Wolf Road and Secretariat Lane, according to an Oswego Police report. He was given a May 10 court date.

March 28

Stolen guns
A thief stole several firearms from a home in the 0-99 block of Circle Drive East in Boulder Hill sometime before 6:52 p.m., Kendall County Sheriff's deputies said. The incident remains under investigation.

March 26

Domestic battery
Susan Fanara, 51, 219 Presidential Blvd., Oswego, was charged with domestic battery at about 10:30 p.m. March 26, in her home, according to an Oswego Police reports. She was given an April 22 court date.
