DUI

John Hudson, 31, of Aurora, was charged with driving under the influence and failure to signal at about 1 a.m. at Northampton Drive and Lombardy Lane, according to an Oswego police report. He was given a May 22 court date.

Saturday, March 31

Van stolen

A 2011 Toyota minivan was stolen in the 200 block of Angela Circle some time before 9:30 a.m., police said. The van was found April 2 in Milwaukee County, WI.

Friday, March 30

Marijuana possession

John Crown, 23, of Plainfield, was charged with possession of marijuana at 9:50 p.m. at Route 31 and River Mist Drive, police said. He has an April 13 court date.

Thursday, March 29

DUI

  • Laura M. Young 43, of Sun Prairie, WI, was charged with DUI and disobeying a traffic signal at about 7:30 p.m. at Route 34 and Douglas Road, according to an Oswego police report. She was given a May 11 court date.
  • Dario Jaimes, 30, of Yorkville, was charged with DUI and speeding at 2 a.m. at Route 34 and Douglas Road, police said. He has a May 11 court date.

TV stolen

Police said a resident reported a television stolen from a home in the 4000 block of Schofield Drive some time before 1:30 p.m. The TV was valued at around $400.

Wednesday, March 28

Widow damaged at school

Someone damaged a window at Fox Chase Elementary School sometime before 9 a.m., according to an Oswego police report. The damage is estimated at $300.

Tuesday, March 27

Copper stolen from cell towers

Someone stole copper from two Verizon cell phone towers in Oswego on March 27 and 28, according to an Oswego police report. The first incident was in the 100 block of Kirkland Circle, and the other took place in the 1100 block of Route 25. The total amount of missing copper is valued at about $2,500, the report said.
