Police Blotter: Teen Charged with DUI, Unlawful Use of a Weapon

July 17

Two 17-year-old boys were arrested and charged with possession of cannabis at St. Anne Parish, 551 Boulder Hill Pass, Oswego police said. One of the youths was also charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, according to police reports.

July 16

Cassandra Jackson, 22, of the 700 block of Bridge Street, Yorkville, was arrested by Oswego police at Walmart, 2300 Route 34, and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia, police said.

July 15

A tablet computer was stolen from an unlocked car in the 200 block of Grays Drive, Oswego police said.

John Lawrence, 16, of the 0-100 block of Boat Lane, Oswego, was arrested by Kendall County Sheriff's police at Route 34 and Little Rock Road  after a deputy spotted his vehicle "traveling westbound on Route 34 swerving all over the road," police said. Lawrence was charged with DUI, unlawful use of weapons and resisting a peace officer, police said. 


July 10

Oswego police are investigating a retail theft from Walmart, 2300 Route 34, police said.
