Someone used a pavement brick to smash the rear window of a vehicle parked in the 0-99 block of Royce Road sometime before 3 a.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Someone stole recycled park bench boards from Village Green Park, at 47 Monroe Street, sometime before noon, Oswego police said. The boards are valued at $1,600, police said.

Renee Vilmin, 64, of the 1000 block of Fifth Street in Batavia, was charged with retail theft of items valued at $42.35 from Walmart on Route 34 at 11:15 p.m., Oswego police said.
Thursday, July 5
Possession
Bradley Harmon, 24, of the 300 block of Ashcroft Lane in Oswego, was charged with possession of marijuana after Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies investigated a suspicious vehicle he was in at 12:07 a.m. at Kristine Street and Kevin Lane in Oswego, police said.
You’re only supposed to steal bases
Someone broke into two storage buildings at Oswego High School, 4050 Rt. 71, and stole numerous baseball bats and balls sometime before 10:18 a.m., Oswego police said. The incident is under investigation, police said.
Disorderly conduct
Jose Gonzalez, 43, of the 500 block of Jackson Street in Aurora, was charged with disorderly conduct and criminal trespass to residence after he allegedly attempted to gain access to an apartment in the 2400 block of Light Road in Oswego at 3 p.m., Kendall County Sheriff’s deputies said.

Possession, part two
Loveton Mastick, 18, of the 2800 block of Yosemite Drive in Aurora, was charged with possession of marijuana after a traffic stop in the 400 block of Barnaby Drive, Oswego police said.
