Suspicious incident
Oswego police responded to a call of a suspicious circumstance at about 8 a.m. Tuesday in the 100 block of North Adams Street. When officers arrived at the home, they said they talked with a resident who said another resident was distraught and had a weapon. Officers entered the home, made contact with the person and found no crime had been committed. There were no injuries or arrests in the incident.
Retail theft charges

Henderson Yarbrough, 25, of Aurora, was charged with one count of retail theft Tuesday after police said he stole from a gas station at 2350 Route 34 on Aug. 22. A warrant has been issued for his arrest.

Oswego police are investigating a theft about $11,300 worth of jewelry from a home in the 500 block of Tewksbury Circle sometime before 9:25 a.m. March 3, according to an Oswego police report. No other information was available.

Battery
A 17-year-old Oswego girl was charged with battery March 2 at Oswego High School. No other information was available.
Thursday, March 1
Domestic battery
Timothy Wilmington, 33, of 517 Treasure Drive, was charged with domestic battery at about 9:30 p.m. March 1 at his home, according to an Oswego police report. He was given an April 13 court date.
Marijuana possession
A 15-year-old Montgomery boy and a 14-year-old Aurora boy were charged with delivery of marijuana on school grounds and possession of marijuana respectively at about 10 a.m. March 1 at Oswego East High School, according to an Oswego police report. No other information was available.

Alcohol possession
Keri Gooch, 18, of 542 Waterford Drive, was charged with possession of alcohol by a minor at about 8 a.m. Feb. 29 at Oswego High School, according to an Oswego police report. She was given a March 23 court date.
