Police Blotter: Thousands of Dollars in Car Parts Taken

Paraphernalia possession
Christopher Bagley, 19, of 86 Tomahawk Trail in Oswego, was charged with possession of drug paraphernalia around midnight Tuesday near the Oswegoland Park District Civic Center, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. The report said Bagley’s car was parked near the Civic Center and upon talking to him, officers detected an odor of marijuana coming from the car. Upon further investigation, Bagley revealed he had several items of drug paraphernalia in his possession, the report said.

Alcohol consumption
Mitchell Klatt, 20, 71 Brockway, Oswego, was charged with unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor at about 12:15 a.m. May 8 at Cayman Drive and Boulder Hill Pass, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s office report. Klatt’s vehicle was stopped for an inoperative registration light on his car and a deputy detected a moderate odor of alcohol on his breath, the report said.

Marijuana possession

Caleb Coulam, 220 Linn Court, North Aurora, was charged with possession of a controlled substance and marijuana possession at about 9:30 p.m. May 7 at Route 31 and Mill Road, according to a Kendall County Sheriff’s Office report. Coulam was stopped for speeding, and a K9 air sniff was conducted on the outside of the vehicle detected narcotics, according to police. The vehicle was then searched and marijuana was found, the report said.
Burglary
A resident in the 200 block of Angela Circle in Oswego Township reported someone broke into his trailer that was parked at in 2000 block of Route 34 sometime before 3:45 p.m. May 6 and stole $2,500 worth of car parts, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
