Retail theft

Cheyanna Shilka, 18, of Yorkville, was charged with retail theft and possession of alcohol by a minor at about 2:45 a.m. Wednesday at 2700 Route 34, according to an report.

Tuesday, Sept. 20

Drug possession

Giovannie Vargas, 18, of Romeoville, and Luis Vargas, 23, also of Romeoville, were charged with possession of marijuana and possession of drug paraphernalia respectively at about 1 a.m. Tuesday at Route 30 and Wolfs Road, according to an Oswego Police report.

Sunday, Sept. 19

Assault

Stevie J. Surber, 22, of Yorkville, was charged with aggravated assault and obstructing a police officer at about 8:30 p.m. Sunday in the 1000 block of Station Drive, according to an Oswego Police report. She was given an Oct. 28 court date.

Friday, Sept. 16

Underage drinking

Several individuals were charged with illiegal consumption of alcohol by a minor at about 11:45 p.m. Saturday at a home in the 500 block of Affirmed Drive in Oswego. According to an Oswego Police report, those charged were Dominika Fraczek, 20, of Plainfield; Jasmine Sanchez, 18, of Oswego; Nicholas Vandevoorde, 20, of Aurora; Blake Frelander 19, of Aurora; Brandon Briscoe, 19, of Plainfield; and 17-year-old Oswego girl was charged with underage possession of alcohol. All were given Oct. 12 court dates, except the minor.

Tuesday, Sept. 13

Drugs stolen

A 29-year-old Naperville man reported to Oswego Police that prescription drugs were stolen from the center console of his vehicle while it was parked at Hudson Crossing park at about 9:20 a.m. Sept. 13

Theft

Oswego Police are investigating the theft of a concrete saw from the back of a construction vehicle that was parked in the 4000 block of McLaren Drive at about 1:50 p.m. Sept. 13. The saw is valued at about $900.
