Police Seek Information on Denham Drive Shooting

A Crimestoppers reward of $1,000 is being offered for information that leads to the arrest of the offenders.

Kendall County Sheriff's Police are asking for the public's help after an unknown male suspect fired a gun at a home in unincorporated Montgomery on Tuesday night.

in a press release, Sgt. Joseph Jasnosz said the suspect shot a firearm multiple times at an occupied house in the 0-100 block of Denham Drive at around 10:45 p.m. No one was struck by the gunfire, police said.

Police said witnesses described seeing two subjects dressed in dark clothing running away from the home after the shots were fired. No other information on the suspects' description was available Friday, according to police.

The incident was the second shooting near Montgomery on Tuesday. Montgomery police said suspects in a vehicle opened fire at a home in the 2800 block of Frances Lane at around 7:43 a.m. Feb. 11.

No one was hurt in the incident, but the residents of the home did chase the suspects, leading to a car crash near Route 31 and Route 30. Although the suspects fled, police were able to apprehend three teenagers in connection with the shooting.
