Return to the Scene of the Crime, Woman Tries Again to Pass Fake Money: Police

Wisconsin woman had been arrested three weeks prior at the same location.

A  Wisconsin woman returned to the same Oswego store less than three weeks later in another attempt to pass counterfeit money, according to an Oswego Police report.

Police said Crystal Singleton, 20, of Beloit Wis. was arrested again July 20 outside the Oswego Target and charged with forgery after she and two other suspects tried to pass counterfeit bills. Arrested and charged with Singleton were Elijah Robinson, 28, of Chicago, and Nina Williams 26, of Chicago, police said.  

When police arrived at Target on July 20, they found the three in the parking lot in possession of the fake money, according to the police report. During the investigation it was determined that Singleton was arrested at the same location on July 1.

All three were taken to the Kendall County Jail.
