Semi Driver's Blood Alcohol Was Three Times Legal Limit: Oswego Police

Police said motorists reported the trucker's erratic driving.

Oswego police arrested a semi-trailer driver on a DUI charge after other motorists reported his erratic driving, police said.

Gerald R. Weber, 41, of the 0-100 block of Motherload Drive in Idaho City, was stopped at around 6:23 p.m. Wednesday at Route 34 and Kendall Point Drive, according to police reports.

Police said Weber's blood alcohol level was three times the legal limit for an ordinary driver, and six times the legal limit for a commercial driver's license holder.

Weber, who was also cited for improper lane use, was released after posting $300 bail and is due in Kendall County court on July 24., according to police reports.
