Tuesday, Aug. 21

Driving with Revoked License

Belinda Luz Rosa, 33, of the 500 block of Slaker Ct., North Aurora, was arrested at 8:55 p.m. at Route 25 and Boulder Hill Pass and charged with driving with a revoked license, after a Kendall County sheriff's deputy observed a vehicle with no rear registration light, according to a sheriff's office report. 

Monday, Aug. 20

Residential Burglary

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report of a residential burglary at the 100 block of Country Road that occurred around 10 p.m. on Saturday, Aug. 18. The garage door had been kicked in, admitting entrance. The incident is still under investigation.

Battery/Aggravated Assault

Melissa Y. Raketic, 41, of the 1400 block of Andover Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 11:56 p.m. at a business on the 1700 block of Route 30 and charged with battery after pushing a motel employee, said Kendall County Police.

Sunday, Aug. 19

DUI, Hit and run

Matthew Henry White, 40, of the 0-99 block of Chatham Place, Montgomery, was arrested at about 1:45 a.m. at Longbeach and Eastfield and charged with driving under the influence of alcohol and a hit and run, said Kendall County police. White had been seen running away from the crash after his vehicle struck a parked car and he was observed to be intoxicated when he was stopped down the street, the sheriff's office said. White was also cited with failure to reduce speed to avoid an accident, operating an uninsured vehicle, illegal transportation of alcohol, failure to give information after striking a vehicle and failure to report accident to police authority, according to the sheriff's report. 

Criminal Damage to Property

Kendall County Sheriff's Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property that occured sometime between 7 and 11 a.m. on Aug. 5 at the 0-99 block of Pickford Road. Someone damaged a car's driver side door with a BB gun. Police are still investigating.

Kendall County Sheriff's Police responded to a report of criminal damage to property that occured sometime between 7:00 p.m. on August 18 and 11:00 a.m. on August 19. Someone had damaged the siding of a house and window with a BB gun. Police are still investigating.

Saturday, Aug. 18

Forgery

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office responded to a report at a business on Route 31, where a customer was trying to purchase merchandise with counterfeit money. The incident is under investigation. 

Wednesday, Aug. 15

DUI

Cynthia Ann Alcantara, 48, of the 13000 block of Silverleaf Court, Plainfield, was arrested at 12:36 p.m. at Wolf and Harvey roads and charged with driving under the influence, said Kendall County deputies. Alcantara was also charged with the illegal transportation of alcohol

Over Theft

Kendall County Police responded to a report of a missing semi-trailer flatbed from Caterpillar on Route 31. The flatbed went missing sometime between Jan.18, 2005 and Aug. 15. The incident is under investigation.

Domestic Battery

Brett Allan Platt, 31, of the 0-99 block of Garden Lane, Montgomery, was arrested at 11:13 p.m. at a residence at the 0-99 block of Afton Drive, Montgomery and charged with domestic battery of a family member, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

Tuesday, Aug. 14

Domestic battery, criminal damage to property

Two male juveniles were arrested at 7:53 p.m. in unincorporated Montgomery, where one was charged with domestic battery and the other with criminal damage to property, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

In-state warrant

Tawana Latres Hosey, 28, of the 1400 block of Light Road, was arrested at 11:13 p.m. at her home and charged with a failure to appear warrant out of Will County for obstructing the identification process, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies had originally been dispatched to the location for a noise complaint.
