Domestic battery

Driving with license suspended, in-state warrant

Shaletta Nicole Thomas, 25, of the 2100 block of Middlebury Dr., Aurora, was arrested at 7:04 p.m. at Caterpillar Dr. and Route 31 and charged with driving with a suspended license and an in-state warrant out of DuPage County for prostitution, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Thomas was also cited for speeding, failing to wear a seatbelt, disobeying a traffic control device and operating an uninsured motor vehicle.

No valid driver’s license

Diamond Ann Bradford, 19, of the 1700 block of Deer Run Dr., Montgomery, was arrested at 12:02 a.m. at Douglas Rd. and Saugatuck Rd. and charged with having no valid driver’s license, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Bradford was also cited with the illegal transportation of alcohol and improper lighting.

DUI

Michael Clark Gillespie, 21, of the 2000 block of Carlsbad Circle, Aurora, was arrested at 3:25 a.m. at Route 30 and Fifth Street and charged with DUI, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies had received reports of a belligerent, intoxicated male in the Boulder Hill subdivision and observed a car in a matching description that the subject had been operating. A traffic stop was conducted for lane violations and Gillespie was arrested for DUI.

Saturday, August 25

Unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor

Two female juveniles, 17, were arrested at 2:00 a.m. at Routes 30 and 34 and charged with the unlawful consumption of alcohol, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. The vehicle had originally been stopped for a passenger not wearing a seatbelt. Both juveniles were passengers in the vehicle.

Driving with license suspended

Luis E. Sandoval-Suarez, 21, of the 800 block of Wood Street, Aurora, was arrested at 1:16 a.m. at Routes 30 and 34 during a night time stationary safety belt enforcement zone and charged with driving with a suspended license, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

Possession of cannabis

Fabian Slyvestor Cruz, 26, of the 100 block of Braeburn Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 7:42 p.m. outside his house and charged with the possession of marijuana of more than 2.5 grams but less than 10 grams, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.  Cruz was stopped when he failed to signal.

Theft

The Kendall County Sheriff’s Office responded to a reported theft that occurred in the 0-99 block of Hampton, Montgomery  at an unknown time on Aug. 25. Three wheel center caps, valued at $150, had been removed from the victim’s car parked on the street in front of the residence. The case is under investigation.

Friday, August 24

Possession of cannabis

Filiberto Medrano, 23, of the 100 block of Grace Ct., was arrested at 8:43 p.m. at Light Road and Anchor Drive West and charged with the possession of cannabis under 2.5 grams, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Medrano had originally been stopped for disobeying a stop sign, and was also charged with a citation for disobeying a stop sign. 

Thursday, August 23

Theft

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported theft that occurred in the 180 block of St. Charles Court. An electronic device, valued under $500, had been taken from the garage. The case is under investigation.

In-state warrant

Kliniquee Jenee Champion, 29, of the 100 block of Harbor Dr., was arrested at 7:10 p.m. at her house and charged with an in-state warrant from the Aurora Police Department for assault, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies had originally responded to the area for reports of a fight. 

Wednesday, August 22

Unlawful consumption and possession of alcohol by a minor

Brittany Anne Sleezer, 20, of the 2700 block of Canyon Drive, Aurora, was arrested at 1:02 a.m. at Washington and Main and charged with the unlawful consumption and possesion of alcohol by a minor, said the Kendall County Sheriff's Office. Sleezer was originally pulled over for speeding and given a citation for that as well.

Driving with license suspended

Jamal Kevin Luckett, 39, of the 0-99 block of Bereman Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 8:48 p.m. at Boulder Hill Pass and Codorus Rd. and charged with driving with a suspended license, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. He was originally pulled over for driving with only one headlight.

Failure to appear warrant

Ryan William Pribyl, 23, of the 1500 block of Little Rock Road, Plainfield, was arrested at a traffic stop at 11:55 p.m. at Route 30 and Horseman Trail and charged with a failure to appear in court warrant, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

Attempted Burglary

Kendall County police responded to a report of an attempted burglary into a business pole building in the 7800 block of Route 71 that occurred sometime between 7:30 p.m. on Aug. 21 and 6:30 a.m. on Aug. 22, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. No entry was gained.
