Sheriff's Blotter: DUIs, Illegal Alcohol Consumption by Minors, Battery

Monday, August 13

In-state warrant

Wendy Joy Rader, 42, of the 0-99 block of Seneca Drive, Montgomery, was arrested at 2:46 a.m. at Route 30 and Douglas Road after being pulled over due to not having a front registration plate, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Police discovered Rader had an outstanding warrant for Kane County a forgery charge with a $25,000 bond. Rader was booked on an in-state warrant, as well as cited for having no registration plate and an expired driver’s license.

Michelle Rene Freyling, 26, of the 0-99 block of Sonora Drive, Montgomery, was arrested at 11:50 p.m. at her house on an in-state warrant, said Kendall County Police. The warrant was from Kendall County and for the unlawful possession of drug paraphernalia and unlawful possession of cannabis less than 2.5 grams.

Sunday, August 12

Domestic Battery

Edward Michael Garbauski, 50, of the 1600 block of W. Lamoyne, Chicago, was arrested at 7:18 p.m. at the Hide Away Lakes Campground and charged with domestic battery, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

Saturday, August 11

DUI

Brittany Ann Hakala, 23, of the 300 block of Birch Drive, Shorewood, was arrested at 2:43 a.m. at Route 71 and Van Emmon and charged with DUI, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies had observed a car that had been involved in a traffic accident and investigation revealed that Hakala had lost control of her vehicle and struck a guardrail, police said.

Unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor

Nicole Marie Hersan, 19, of the 1400 block of Chesnut Lane, Yorkville, and Nicholas Alexander, 20, of the 100 block of Harbor Drive, were arrested at 3:03 a.m. at Longbeach Rd. and Winrock Rd. and charged with the unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor, according to the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

No valid driver’s license

Susana Meija, 33, of the 900 block of Watson Street, Aurora, was arrested at 1:51 p.m. at the scene of a three-car accident at Route 30 and Goodwin and charged with having no valid driver’s license, said Kendall County Police. 

Wednesday, August 8

Unlawful consumption of alcohol by a minor

Tyler William Zolper, 18, of the 0-99 block of Fernwood Road, Montgomery, and a male juvenile were arrested at 6:55 p.m. at Springdale and Saugatuck Road. and charged with the unlawful consumption of alchol by a minor, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Sheriff’s deputies had originally responded to location to investigate a domestic battery.

Battery

Kendall County Police responded to a report of a battery that occurred at 6:54 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Windrock. The matter is still under investigation.
