Friday, Oct. 12

In-state warrant

Philippe Alberto Ayala, 26, of the 200 block of Clubhouse Lane, was arrested at 3:06 a.m. at Route 30 and Route 31 and charged with an in-state warrant out of DuPage County for criminal damage to property, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Ayala was also cited for speeding and driving with an expired license.

Thursday, Oct. 11

Criminal damage to property, criminal trespass to property

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of criminal damage and trespass to property in the 600 block of Route 31 that occurred between 1:00 p.m. and 6:00 p.m. Damage was done to a fence and the matter is under investigation.

Criminal damage to state property

A male juvenile was arrested at 4:30 p.m. at his Denham and Tealwood and charged with an outstanding warrant for probation violation, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies originally responded to a report of the juvenile removing a GPS ankle monitor and damaged it, which is classified as criminal damage to state property and is a class 4 felony.

Battery

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of battery that occurred at 5 p.m. at  Boulder Hill Elementary School to a 7-year-old victim, who reported being pushed to the ground and kicked. The case is under investigation.

Theft

A male juvenile, 13, was arrested and charged with a bicycle theft that occurred earlier that day at 2 p.m. at Heathgate Road, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.  The bicycle was recovered.

Wednesday, Oct. 10

Theft

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of theft that occurred 10 p.m. on Oct. 9 in the 0-99 block of Bereman Road. A registration plate, valued at $20, was taken from a vehicle parked at the residence.

Monday, Oct. 8

No valid driver’s license

Ruben Molina, 38, of the 600 block of Woodlawn, Aurora, was arrested at 5:41 p.m. at Route 30 and Harvey and charged with driving with no valid driver’s license and no proof of insurance, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office. Deputies had originally responded to a report of a property damage only accident of which Molina was the driver of one of the vehicles.

In-state warrant

Phillip T. Brown, 22, of the 100 block of Springbrook Trail, was arrested at 9:05 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Boulder Hill Pass and charged with an in-state warrant for forgery out of Kane County, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

Saturday, Oct. 6

Burglary

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of burglary that occurred sometime between 9 a.m. on Oct. 5 and 7:30 a.m. on Oct. 6 in the 0-99 block of Buell Street. Someone had reportedly entered a locked garage and stolen items and numerous tools.

Friday, Oct. 5

Criminal damage to property

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of criminal damage to property that occurred between 10:30 a.m. and 9:00 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Chippewa Drive. A mailbox was reported damaged.

In-state warrant

Oscar Francisco Ortiz, 29, of the 500 block of Rural Street, Aurora, was arrested at 8:25 p.m. at Light and Commerce Road and charged with an in-state warrant for two failure to appear traffic warrants out of Will and DuPage County, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Office.

Thursday, Oct. 4

Failure to appear warrant

Mark William Overbey, 47, of the 700 block of Cooper Court, E. Aurora, was arrested at 11:30 a.m. at Briarcliff Road and Route 30 and charged with a failure to appear warrant out of the Aurora Police Department for criminal trespass, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s Department. Sheriff’s deputies made contact with Overby after they received reports that he was stopping cars in their traffic lane and asking drivers for money.
