Saturday, Jan. 12

Domestic battery

  • David Michael Rutherford, 53, of the 100 block of Tealwood Road, Montgomery, was arrested at 7:30 p.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.
  • A male juvenile, 15, was arrested at 2:25 p.m. in the 100 block of Delores Street and charged with domestic battery and criminal damage to property, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

Friday, Jan. 11

Disorderly conduct

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a report of disorderly conduct that occurred at 6:52 p.m. in the 0-100 block of Hubbard Way, Oswego. They received a report of a man with a knife, but discovered that the incident was a prank. The investigation is ongoing.

Thursday, Jan. 10

No valid driver’s license

Juana M. Rodriguez, 38, of the 2900 block of Heather Lane, Montgomery, was arrested at 8:47 a.m. at Douglas Road and Route 30, Montgomery and charged with driving without a valid license, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. She was also cited for a child restraint violation and an adult passenger seat belt violation.

Drug paraphernalia

A male juvenile was arrested at 3:09 p.m. and charged with possession of drug paraphernalia. Deputies found the drug paraphernalia when they responded to the juvenile’s residence to assist in an incident.

Wednesday, Jan. 9

Identity theft

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating an incident that occurred at an unknown time in which someone’s personal information was used to purchase a vehicle without legal authority. 

Tuesday, Jan. 8

Domestic battery

Alan John Krappitz, 53, of the 1000 block of Route 30, Aurora, was arrested at 9:53 p.m. at his residence and charged with domestic battery that occurred between two family members, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

Resisting a peace officer

The Sheriff’s office is investigating an incident of resisting a peace officer that occurred at the Kendall County Courthouse at 9:30 a.m. on Jan. 7.

Violation of order of protection

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a report of a violation of an order of protection that occurred at 9:00 p.m. in the 2400 block of Douglas Road, Oswego. A suspect sent text messages through a third party which was a violation of the remedies of the order of protection.

Theft

Sheriff’s deputies responded to a reported theft that occurred at an unknown time at a Hunting and Fishing Club in the 6900 block of Route 71. A fishing boat was reported stolen, the investigation is ongoing.

Monday, Jan. 7

No valid driver’s license

Maria Guadalupe Diaz, 42, of the 1900 block of Sommerset Court, Romeoville, was arrested at 7:05 p.m. at Caton Farm and Ashley Road in Kendall County and charged with driving without a valid license, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. She was originally stopped for speeding 74 mph in a 55mph zone.

Criminal damage to property

Sheriff’s deputies are investigating a reported criminal damage to property that occurred at 2:00 p.m. in the 0-99 block of Sonora Drive, Montgomery. Damage was found on the residence, possibly caused by air soft pellets.

Sunday, Jan. 6

Illegal consumption of alcohol

Karlin Elizabeth Moulding, 18, of the 0-200 block of Riverwood Drive, Oswego, was arrested at 1:48 a.m. in the 0-200 block of Riverwood Drive and charged with the illegal consumption of alcohol by a minor, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

Domestic battery

Joshua Thomas Turnbull, 21, of the 500 block of Morgan Street, Yorkville, was arrested at 1:48 a.m. in the 0-200 block of Riverwood Drive, and charged with domestic battery, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office.

Saturday, Jan. 5

DUI

Dawn A. Taylor, 47, of the 400 block of Monroe Street, Oswego, was arrested at 5:32 a.m. at West Anchor Drive and Shore Court and charged with driving under the influence, said the Kendall County Sheriff’s office. She was also cited for a headlight violation, illegal transportation of open alcohol and no driver’s license on person.
